Ribbon Device

The Goa'uld Kara Kesh is better known as the Ribbon Device or hand device is an energy weapon worn on the hand of Goa'uld system lords and their agents. Using the weapon requires that the wearer be host to a Goa'uld or have residual naquadah in the blood stream. The roots of the Ribbon Device can be traced back to the original Stargate movie where Ra used a version of the prop. As a "uniquely Stargate" prop the Ribbon Device is instantly recognizable by fans of the franchise.
