I have built a replica of the mini long range communication device from the Stargate Universe episode Seizure. This is a scaled down version of the Tau'ri communication device, and was only used in that one episode.
All parts of the box were laser cut and etched based on references of the original props (SGU production made two). I had to assemble it pretty quickly for it's public debut, and so I am building a second unit to make a mold from.
The unit is about 4 inches square. It will feature internal lighting for the grid, a hinged lid and will have an internal magnet for the communication stone,
I will need to have the lighted grid laser etched ahead of time, and so if you want one of these let me know. I won't be able to make these on demand after the first run. Cost will be $75 for the unit alone or $115 for the unit plus stone.
