HB Studios and 2K Games have launched a free demo for PGA Tour 2K25, titled PGA Tour 2K25 First Look, ahead of the game's early access launch on February 21. The demo is available now for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and progress made, including MyPlayer development, will carry over to the full game at launch.
The demo features four main components: character customization, local matches, training, and quests. Players can create up to three MyPlayer builds, customizing stats, appearance, and archetypes. However, there is a cap on progress in the demo, limiting MyPlayer ratings to a 70 overall. In the full game, this cap is removed.
Players can also enjoy portions of two courses, including the back nine at TPC Scottsdale and the WM Phoenix Open, with additional courses like TPC Sawgrass and Oakmont Country Club available in the full game. The game also includes a design mode for custom courses.
The demo includes lessons and training areas from the full game, as well as quests to help players develop their skills. Early access is available for those who purchase the Legend Edition for $119.99, while the standard edition, priced at $69.99, will be released on February 28, 2025.
