Since I will be making many molds for new projects, here is a new and wonderful game of guessing what is in the mold.

The first two molds are cavity pour molds (aka matrix molds) made with Plasti-Paste Epoxy.

Here's a new mold. This will be a one part, open top mold. I framed the original prop with a wooden box, and then poured the silicone into the box. This gives the mold fairly thin walls, saving on rubber and making it easier to demold. The rubber is confirmed exactly to the size of the wood box, so it holds its shape despite being thin walled.
