Make caps fast in Fallout 76 with Cap Collector + Hard Bargain, a West Tek loot loop, quick vendor resets, and a CAMP water farm or player shop to keep income rolling daily.

Caps in Fallout 76 can feel like they vanish the second you earn them. Fast travel fees, vendor plans, that one mod you "might" use later—it adds up. If you're sick of scraping by, you need a loop that keeps paying you, not just a lucky haul. Some players even top up when they're short on time by grabbing currency or items through services like EZNPC, but the real win is building habits that make the daily cap grind almost boring.

Fix Your Perks Before You Fix Your Route

Most people tune their cards for damage and call it a day, then wonder why they're always broke. Swap in money perks when it matters. Cap Collector is small on paper, but it stacks up during events where you're looting nonstop. Then there's Hard Bargain—don't forget it. Seriously, equip it before you sell anything, every time. You'll notice the difference right away, especially when you're dumping piles of weapons and chems. It's not glamorous, but neither is selling for half value because you couldn't be bothered to click a card.

Run Dense Spots, Not "Whatever's Nearby"

Wandering is fun, but it's bad business. You want places with lots of enemies, quick resets, and loot that sells well. West Tek is still the classic for a reason: Super Mutants, tight corridors, and a steady stream of laser rifles, assault rifles, and other vendor-friendly gear. Don't auto-scrap it out of habit. Pick up the intact weapons, waddle to a station or Whitespring Mall, and cash out. When you've cleared it, hop servers and repeat. You'll also start learning what's worth carrying and what's dead weight, which saves you time on every run.

Make Your CAMP Pay Rent

If your CAMP isn't earning while you're out shooting things, it's basically just a pretty screenshot spot. Water purifiers are the steady option: collect purified water whenever you swing by home and sell it to NPCs. It's simple and reliable. Player vending is where the real spikes happen. Stock what people actually buy: ammo you don't use, spare stimpaks, common plans priced to move, and decent legendary pieces you're not keeping. Don't overthink it. Fair prices beat "museum display" listings that sit there for weeks.

Beat the Daily Limit Without Burning Out

NPC vendors share a daily pool of about 1,400 caps, so treat it like a checklist, not a marathon. Sell high value-to-weight stuff first so you're not hauling heavy junk for pennies. Once the pool's drained, stop forcing it—shift to player sales, events, or even an alt if you enjoy that routine. After a week or two, you'll feel the difference: you're buying plans when you want, fast traveling without thinking, and staying stocked. And if you ever want a shortcut during a busy week, some folks look at Fallout 76 boosting as a backup while keeping the same money loop running in the background.
