This is a really sad story. Actor Anton Yelchin had a accident at his home which cost him his life. 
Apparently he was struck and killed in his driveway after exiting his car. The car was in neutral, and rolled down his driveway hitting and killing him.
Terrible, freak accident.
He played Chekov in the Trek reboot movies, and also Kyle Reese in Terminator Salvation. The guy was only 27!
Always be cautious, don't take life for granted, and appreciate the ones you have.
