Has anyone seen Smiley's list of Stargate stuff? Oh never mind it's right in front of me reaching past the horizon :P

Very good collection! I'm very interested in this "One Dollar American Note from Rainbow Sun Franks" though. There's got to be a story there just waiting to be told to the world!

I don't even know what I have anymore (in dusty boxes etc) ... I know I've got some paper napkins from a Stargate party :P

Oooh me too! And some paper coasters!!

Stargate party at my place :D Now who's got the party cups? ;)

Nothing a very exciting story really, we were at the bar ordering ourselves some drinks and Rainbow and Alexis were there too and we they were saying how colourful our notes were compared to theirs and Alexis was saying how he liked it and we were just chatting and then Rainbow pulled out two notes and gave me one and one to my friend.... it is a VERY treasured item, we wanted to get him to sign it, but it's illegal too :(

Oh and hey i did warn you it was a long one!! :P Heehee, my awesome list, i love it, has taken a lot of money and effort to get it that way though! :)

And sorry no Stargate supplies here!!

Smiley, it's all in the delivery! Next time someone asks just replace "bar" with "hotel" and ... erm never mind

I think that's a great story, and it gives the item a much more personal value than any store bought collectible. After all, the conventions we go to and the stuff we gather should give us good memories more than anything else :D

Lightspeed Fine Art used to make one, and I believe Legends Memorabilia was going to at some point. There are also unofficial fan made versions which can be bought online. eBay is one source, plus I've seen them for sale on other prop message boards.

The most precious thing I own is this 3-D-picture which I won at an auction at my very first convention and took it with me ever since for signing. This is actually an old image, last August (at Gatecon) the sign of Richard Dean Anderson got added (along with a few others).

Image

PS: I wrote the actors names onto it so that it is more recognizable, of course they are not really on the picture ;)

You and all of the stars! You should see their faces when I lay it onto the table. If I understand it right then this is a special German piece, as the writing is German (Kommando instead of command, etc.). Must be from displaying on video tape libraries or something. Somebody said only 300 got made.

BTW, not that I want to brag or anything, but I used the few minutes I had with Rick, after he had signed, and showed him a photo album with the action figure pictures and my behind-the-scenes-"crew", he was very amazed!

Oh please, brag away!!! There's nothing I love more than hearing fan stories like that :D

Richard is always so amazed by the dedication of the fans, it's what makes him (and the others of course) truly amazing people.

You should've heard the conversation I once had with Amanda at a convention. Basically saying that my bf thought I resembled her ... hehe she sat back, studied me for a second and had to agree!! And asked if I'd be dying my hair to match hers (as I'm bottle blonde).

It's those little moments that make our day/month/year/millenia!!! :D :D

keeperofthesgcarmory: I actually got the Zat off eBay, it's just one of the models thats been made because it got broken in the delivery, but it's easy enough to super glue it back on, shame though. I brought it for my costume though so it's all good, i wore it to a con (that had no Stargate guests *shock*) last weekend and people kept wanting to take pictures of it...

Oh very funny, Suzanne Wood the author of the SG-1 novel The Barque Of Heaven was holding onto my P90 and having a look at it and some kid came up and goes... "How much for that?" Suzanne and I just laughed twas very funny. But ummm dodgy put together work had me leaving it under a table at a mates stand for the rest of the day... the front end fell off :P All fixed now but!

Oh and i've now got an even better and easier way to keep my collection list updated, i made a site dedicated to it! :P

Interesting stories! You met Suzanne? Cool! I once exchanged a few very nice and long e-mails with her after I had praised her book to no end. I consider it my favouritest out of all the very good books. She seems like a very nice lady.

Must have a closer look at your collection page. Even though I am afraid it only will give me ideas...

Early last year i attended a convention with Chris Judge and Suzanne actually attended it, she was sitting next to one of my mates, we didn't know who she was until after when Scotty (the organiser) mentioned her and pointed her out. I got to have a nice chat with her because at the time i was the only person there that had actually already read the book, i liked it a lot too, but i'm not a massive Daniel fan and she is :P She's really nice though, had a good chat with her at the con i was at last weekend, Jennifer Fallon was there as well but i didn't really like her as much, not as nice or talkative, Suzanne was really great and now i've met her twice, she liked my costume when i wore it on the weekend too, liked my P90 especially and the Zat of course! :)

LOL I meant ideas for more things to buy. But I am afraid I already have used this month's budget, and today is only the fifth... (ordered concert tickets, songbooks and also Dr. Who actionfigures, including a Tardis with light and several sound effects - so cool!)

Still interested? I know it's been a while, my camera broke, but I finally managed to do video files for you. Unfortunately I forgot to turn the camera, so you have to crane your neck watching them... LOL

Tardis http://s137.photobucket.com/albums/q227 ... Tardis.flv

In the past few weeks, after watching "Children of Earth", I fell head over heels with "Torchwood" and John Barrowman. Spent hours and hours at youtube to watch him sing and dance at several TV shows. So, of course I had to order TW-figures... Since this is quite off topic for a Stargate-forum, I only post a link to my LJ for those that are interested.

There definitely will be more. I'm totally hooked. So you see what happens when I get ideas, Colonel_Carter... Be careful what you wish for ;)

Oh wow, the Tardis is so cool Astra!!! I have wanted one of those for a while now, better start saving my pennies!!

I really should've updated my last *addition* to my collection ... just one screen used flightsuit as worn by one Major Samantha Carter!!!

OH YES!!! *win* :D

Oh, congratulations, then! Where did you get it? Legends Memorabilia?

Yes, the Tardis is very cool. Saving pennies is absolutely worth it. The one I bought came with three figures (Doctor, Jack, Martha) as well, so I consider it a good deal.

Although I haven't discovered the promised "shaking" effect yet. BTW, today I made the scene where Jack is hanging on for dear life on the outside while yelling "Doooctooooor!!!" (beginning of Dr. Who episode "Utopia")
