Stargate Props and Costumes

I have been fortunate to receive in my prop shop one of the few original screen used Kara Kesh (Ribbon Device) props from Stargate SG1! This amazing achievement means that I have been able to completely remaster this iconic prop to its exact original dimensions.

The SG1Props ribbon device replica prop has always been based on reference photos. My original sculpt was close in every way to the original, but not exact. Now I am pleased to say that future ribbon devices will be essentially identical in every way to the original.

Changes that will be made to the original design will be purely functional (allowing easier fit and control over the LED light). Visually the prop will match what was made by the props department perfectly.

New center crystal mold. Will be cast in multiple pieces. Made directly from the original screen used ribbon device prop. The crystal itself will be cast separately now instead of as one piece as I did on my old molds.

Completely redesigned the palm crystal and frame. Every detail is the same as the original prop. Hollowed out for electronics.

What more can you ask for? Maybe the ability to control the light with a movement of your finger? Yes, that is exactly what you will be able to do
