I have been helping my friend Julien to bring his original DHD to life with lights and sounds so that the DHD can actually be dialed.
I wrote the software for Arduino, and built several breakout boards to control the 38 glyphs. As on the show, a minimum of 7 glyphs must be entered in order to activate the gate.
