Well, if Smiley can brag about meeting Amanda Tapping, then I also want to announce that I just got one of only 350 tickets for three days full of only Richard Dean Anderson and Richard Dean Anderson alone. No other guests there this time (well, maybe Amanda makes a short visit, you'll never know ).

I lucked out to get one of 80 cocktail party tickets, but that is okay with me. I'm still a very happy camper right now!

I know that Colonel_Carter wanted to go, but I don't know of any other SG1Props' members who are attending.

Oh Astra! I am so pleased to hear that you managed to get tickets.

Richard was very shy at Avalon as it was his first convention, but I have heard that since then he has well and truly come out of his shell and is a complete scream on the convention circuit.

I am very jealous! I had wanted to get to either/both 'Meet The Man' and/or 'The Sanctuary Experience' but unfortunately finances (and possibly family commitments) did not allow. I will get to a Stargate con one of these days though!

I want to see pictures ... lots and lots of pictures but most of all *ENJOY*

You betcha! I was at last year's Gatecon as well, and what a difference it was. He was very entertaining and telling stories and doing voices of other people in between. We laughed very hard and melted at the same time. The panels, the auction, he himself said at the end that he had a blast. Now, if he only had believed us years ago! I was tempted to yell "Toldya!!!" I strongly recommend buying the DVD once it is out.

Thank you so much for the links to the photos aswell - I love these!! Hehe I met so many people in the main pub in Wells!!! LOL I loved the 2 for 1 drink promotion everytime the Stargate initiated LOL!!
