Ok, that's slightly misleading ... only if you have one of those super huge wide screen, movie theatre TVs!!!

But anywho! Yes, news of both the new Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis movie have been mentioned by the very wonderful Amanda Tapping.

And fans of our Amanda will love the extra bit of news that, guess what - she stars in both!!

More from her interview go to Sci Fi Wire

Lovely pic of Amanda if you scroll down too *heart*

You don't know the "squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"?

Do you know any female fans (or fangirls as we like to say)?

That is a common noise heard from said "fangirls" when they hear/see something wonderful about their favourite character/actor/star etc.

Don't worry ... most fangirl's haven't got the power to shatter glass ... not on their own anyway - now a pack of them, that's different ;) :D

D'Oh!

Ok...now I got it...I have always related that "sound" to the word "squeal".

I'm not sure that's just a "fangirl" trait...I'm remembering a class reunion and the women made that sound...also I've heard that at weddings, family gatherings, and pretty much anywhere else for that matter!

Thanks for setting me straight on that..."sound"!

Squeeeee, is not only made by fangirls, i have heard many fanguys Squee as well, of course it's waaay more entertaining, but fun too, always fun! And well squee does come from Squeal as far as i know, very similar anyway as in you squeal the word SQUEEEE!! :P Heeehee... my friends and i have been known to do that working up to most conventions! :P Although we did it at the first one we ever went too, and then got in trouble for making too much noise, of course that was when we were just at dinner with them and not the actual event!! :P

Tis a good way of getting across just how exciting about something you are anyway!

A "spin" on the episode "The Warrior"...a TOTALLY FICTIONAL SPIN.

Jack and Sam standing in a group at a convention...

"SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" is heard as Michael Shanks walks by.

Jack: "You know, we never get this when we get home." [to Sam]

A little while later - in a different spot of the same group...

"SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

Jack [to Sam]: "They really like doing that, don't they?"

:D

lol somebody should get Richard, Amanda, and Michael to play along with that at some convention.

But only if it's caught on film!

I want to see this as an outtake on the next set of DVD extras! They would soooo be up for this I know!!!

I plan we mass write to them before they go into production :D :D

YES!!! I agree! Outtakes and extras - the FUN behind the scenes and the goofs and gafs in front of the camera we don't always get to see!

If they do a BLU-RAY set - it would be worth the $$$ we pony up if the extras were included!

The movies are great! I am so happy that the studio is behind Stargate and realizes people still like the franchise.
