On the official Stargate site there is a new special called "Sights and Sounds". In it they go behind the scenes of the episodes "Doppelganger," "Missing," The Mortal Coil" and "The Kindred". Check it out at http://stargate.mgm.com/video.php?id=83 and tell me what you think!!! Yes, some of these episodes have not aired yet so there may be spoilers!!

Awesome set of videos here!

It's great to see examples of the cast/crew preparing a scene, and then the recording of the actual take. When people think of a production they usually imagine a well scripted scene, but in a true production environment things happen "on the go" quite a bit. This is a good example of that.

Thanks for posting!

By all accounts Richard Dean Anderson was the master of "ad lib" when he was recording, especially during Season 6. There's many a scene where if you watch the reaction of the other cast members you can see he has deviated from the script heavily, putting in his own humourous lines :)

I always love Behind the Scenes footage ... they're a favourite of mine on all the DVD extras :)

Too bad they didn't go back to the earlier seasons when they packaged all 10 seasons together - that would've been "excellent"

1 BET-TUR would have been to add in "hilarious gafs, gaffaws, and outtakes!"

Yeah, those are some really cool behind the scenes videos they put up on there...

I have seen this one before, and is one of my favorites. :)

It never gets boring watching what they've been up to at the Brickhouse! I just wish they would update with some new demo material ...
