As you probably all now, I'm mike272, (or just 'mike'!), I've been around for a bit now, but as Carter said, this is a good way to get to know people. :)

I'm a HUGE Stargate fan, (mainly Atlantis), and am looking froward to having a good time around here! :D (GREAT site by the way!)

Best Regards,

M!

Hi Mike!

You want us to choose between SG and Atlantis?

That might take a while to deliberate :P

How can we choose between two great shows? But you have to remember, stargate(movie)came first. How do you choose between your children?

Nice way to introduce yourself Mike  :P

I'm going to look at this question in the context of what stage the two shows are at right now. Atlantis is still very fresh and exploratory, and I think that gives it an edge over the later seasons of SG-1 where the show gets a little darker.

So I'm going to throw my vote in for Atlantis!

SG-1 orrrrrrrrrrrrr Atlantis?

Well we only have 22 members at this moment, so any more than that and it might arouse suspicion

Continuum is a great movie, soooooo left Arc of Truth in the dust!!
Michael said that was due to budget and some story line restrictions for AoT

You are gonna love it

I was escort/Bodyguard to Michael Shanks at the Vancouver Premier, it really was better scripted then AoT, Michael and I had a discussion about it afterwards

*falls flat on the ground in awe!*

Wow, what an honour! Do tell us more!

I really liked AoT, but did think it had more of a 'extended episode' feel to it. Can't wait for Continuum, and I do hope that the success of these movies means there will be more. Though I love Atlantis, there's just something special about our SG-1 :)

Yes, I'm one of the sad saps who cries when watching 'Unending'

There's really not much to it, I have done escort/guard for quite a few of the SG talent, Atlantis, BattleStar, Trek, supernatural and others
For me its just something I do like 20 weekends a year, its all volunteer stuff, at different conventions, I like the talent and for some reason they like me.... rotten brats

Wow MamaDuck - you have a really cool job volunteering!

I'm LATE-LATE-LATE replying to this post because my alter-ego/real job has kept me away from having a life outside of work.

My vote would be SG1 and "all things Jack"...Continuum was AWESOME and I love the extra with RDA on the sub trying to adjust his hat...if you haven't checked out the x-tras - go, run, simulate, let me know how it turns out, keep me posted, keep me apprised...

Oooh I just got a 'proper' copy of Continuum (yes I downloaded it originally - bad Colonel!!) But now I have all the glorious extras ... I will be checking that one out for sure!

Real life? You mean there's a life outside of this screen? Where?
