Seems that there is going to be a special edition made of Children of the Gods, the original pilot for Stargate SG-1.

Personally, I can't wait to see what they do with this. I'm pleased to see that the unnecessary nudity will be removed (finally under 18s can get to understand what started it all off!) and am intrigued to see what better special effects they come up with.

With the amount of "flashbacks" to the pilot they've had over the years it's essentially already been re-released

I can't wait to see how they re-master this!

haha!! Mmm that is true

Though it'll be great to have it in 16:9 and tightened up a little. I always liked the musical score, so will be interested to see what they do with that.

More special effects of the Jaffa helmets retracting please!! *fan girl squee!*
