To my knowledge they used the Minox MD 6x16, but painted OD green.

lol I've been there with the daily BDUs.

I'll keep my eyes out for a good source of BDUs that don't have the reinforced areas. Sometimes the law enforcement BDUs don't have all of the extras that the military ones do, so I'll look into some stuff and post up anything I find.

On the show, the olive drab uniform BDUs that SG-1 wears do not have reinforced knees or seats. On the other hand, the other uniforms (like the desert ones) that SG-1 uses sometimes will have the double layer of material on the knees. This problem may have been linked to an issue I've just remedied on the site as discussed here.

Well I've measured everything and you can definitely install the new upper receiver kit and keep the airsoft as a functional gun.

Just make sure to request a hollow receiver.
